She took a degree in Fine Arts at the Complutense University (Madrid) and enjoyed a scholarship at the School of Drawing and Painting, Heriot Watt University (Edinburgh)

She finished her doctorate studies at the Complutense University (Madrid) with the research theme: “Ediciones ilustradas del Quijote”, in collaboration with the project carried out by the National Calcography and the Spanish Society of New York.

She also enjoyed a scholarship of the Spanish Academy in Rome (speciality: Engraving).
