Curriculum

He took a degree in Biology at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He belongs to the Corps of Biologists of the Xunta de Galicia. Throughout his labour activity, he filled different offices linked to biology and the sea. He was the head of the department of the Consellería do Mar in Lugo from October 2010 to January 2012 and head of the Aquaculture Section in Celeiro – Viceiro since March 2012.

On 5th March 2013 he became director of the Social Marine Institute (ISM) in Lugo and replaced Miguel Ángel Moreno Expósito.
