He took a degree in Law at Santiago de Compostela University in 1962. After a public competition, he began to work as notary in Barcelona in 1967. Since 1987, he has been working in Pontevedra.

He published the following books: A morte de Nancy Reagan (short novel), Agalia no. 14, 1988, Beatum corpus (narrative), 'Ir Indo' Publications, 1994 and Mtesis (poetry book), 'Fraiás' Publications, 1998.
